Review of the Book "GE Retirees tell Tales" edited by the late Gerry Bijwaard.

This book had its first printing run of 150 copies in early 2006.

It has 170 pages of  type with some pictures all in black and white. The type is of readable size.

The stories have been written by about 21 Retirees from the GE Salem plant.

The short biographies for those retirees in the back of the book are what I found most interesting.

The stories relate to life at the GE plant and travel on company business in addition to other topics from personal experiences.

It makes a good read for anyone who has worked in Salem or knows any of the writers.
